Malcolm has for many years supplied the MG Car Club (Y Register) with difficult to obtain spare parts. These parts have been remanufactured to the original specification; in many cases the specification has been higher than that originally produced. It is difficult in the current environment to find a company that does not compromise, either on cost or time, and manufactures a product that a classic car owner can fit to his/her car knowing that the quality and reliability is without question.
The list of items produced is varied and includes: Window Channels, Carpet Strips, Spot lamp Brackets, Spare Wheel Clamps, Fixing Bracket for Spare Wheel Clamps, Lucas 1130 Wiring Brackets etc. In addition many one-off parts have been re-fabricated/manufactured to assist with total car restorations.
Malcolm’s greatest qualities are his attention to detail, his knowledge of classic car components and his desire to produce a quality product at a reasonable price. It is great news that Classic Components has migrated to larger premises. Over the past year, we have been adding thousands of products to our online shop at Martell’s, and recently a member of staff bought one of Malcolm’s products to our attention (stick man sausage holder). After requesting a sample and seeing one in the flesh, we then placed an order and added them to our online shop, and began selling them in our department store.
Malcolm provided very satisfying service and delivered great quality products.
